I've work with a team in Billings, MT 2-3 times annually for the past 5 years. They assure me this was a stunt by the Gazette to lure lost subscribers back.
Like most liberal rags, they see their subscriptions drop like a rock from a tall building and wonder why?
Well, since bird keeping is losing its popularity, and so many clever canine potty-training products are now on the market, there's really no need for newspapers any more.
I use them to keep the paint off of my sawhorses when I'm doing trim.

I would need more . information. Sounds like a mistake on the part of swat, but this is CNN and until I know more, I withold opinion. Sad for the baby though. Hope he recovers well. And the 8 year old clearly needs some counseling.
Maybe it was a mistake, but the militarization of America's civilian law enforcement is not. Same goes for SWAT teams that are under the control of the BLM, IRS, EPA, & Dept.of Ed just to name a few. That crap is way out of line, & has no place in a America that respects the rule of law & the constitutional rights of it citizens.
The article says they were looking for a drug dealer, that they found elsewhere. Sounds like yet another case of wrong address on the warrant.
And now that they have armored vehicles, they can kill innocent people at the wrong address much more effectively.
