Newt might have some trouble proving his conservative bonafides, but he doesn’t have any trouble handing John King a swift kick in the butt. So kudos to Mr. Gingrich. And shame on the MSM. It is time they started acting like journalists. And not press agents for King Barry.

Now the lead story is Newt won. But the polls only closed what, half hour ago? How on earth would they know?
Watching it now. Newt is up by five percentage points with 7% of precincts reporting. He won.
I 'm not going to vote to Newt, but he is quite enjoyable to watch during the debates. There is nothing more satisfying than watching a media blow hard get the smackdown. Well, maybe a 3 some with 2 porn stars, but that's a whole 'nother story.
The MSM must be getting nervous. Yahoo's lead story today was that if Newt won today, it wouldn't matter anyway.
Yeah, I read all sorts of explanations of why they thought he'd won. None of them seemed to take the King smackdown as having anything to do with it. If they'd ask any Republicans, they'd know that this was a vital part of it. Then again, what media member knows any Republicans to ask.
Cattiness aside, they do not want to admit how soundly the media is detested and that there is good reason behind most conservatives' antipathy towards the media.

No matter what you think of Newt as a candidate, ya gotta love him for not folding under the stuupid MSM attempts to discredit him. He definitely does NOT pussyfoot around, he comes right out and says exactly what the feels/thinks. At this point, that is might refreshing!
With Newt's win tonight, I look for Romney especially to ditch the carefully crafted wordsmithing and speak more bluntly. Newt is succeeding by saying what many of us think and know to be true and he will likely change the whole narrative of the campaign whether he gets the nomination or not. I think that the GOP is going to go all in on smacking down the MSM and calling out the professional recipient class and their political enablers. It will be interesting to watch the real core values of each party go on display.

I think the GOP as a whole doesn't knowquite what to do with Newt. They have chosen their candidate, and Newt is throwing a monkeywrench in the wroks.

It's about time somebody said what we all think about the dipwads in the Lame Stream Media! My opinion of Gingrich went up a few points after his bitch slapping of king.

John King moved on from that rather pathetcally but he got his ass handed back to him indeed. We all know what happened. They were like oh goodie we got him let's pull him down first. Well what a mistake that was.
I agree KQ and it looked as if King was a little chagrined but I think the CNN power mongers reminded him he'd take some heat for the question, I just don't think he or they expected a standing "O" and several curtain calls for the answer!
They made a huge mistake in a. assuming the audience would do or say nothing or b. assuming the audience would be on their side. I know that after they probably said that the audience was filled with idiots republicans and they were in the right, but they weren't.
You know KQ, after listening to my friend, Rush Limbaugh, talking about this very CNN segment, I now lean in the direction of his assessment about John King's attempted 'two by four' up the side of the Newtster's head being King's as his assertion that the Old Guard Media is still KING and still powerful and if you want a piece of it, come and get it! I don't think for a minute, that an individual and an organization that have no sense of shame would actually feel any shame even when their noses are rubbed in the mess they know they're responsible for. According to the Maha Rushii, these scabs to decency hate US more than they hate this nation's professed enemies.
Please do not refer to "Dear Leader" as a king.
