• A shoe likely aimed at Ghetto black kids whose parents are struggling to come up with rent and food money. I believe this is what is meant by "forgetting where you came from." And LeBron is no angel. Remember he fled the Cavaliers at his first opportunity, wanting to move to the Heat, so he could "win a championship." God forbid he stick around and build the team he was on. You can have all your "champiom players." I'll sticl woth the boring Sprus, like David Robinson, Manu Ginobli and Tim Duncan.

• All carefully manufactured by virtual slave labor in China, because most of the people who buy them are too stupid and lazy to run a sewing machine.

• Is $300 for a loaf of bread far behind?

  • Only if some ball player has endorsed it.

• With ya on that Flash. Never been a big sports fan.

  However, from what little I have read/heard about LeBron, I respect him as a person. He is not scandal plagued like so many others, and seems to have been raised with some morals and values.

  As an aside, my favorite sport is darts.
  Encouraging people to drink alcohol, then hurl sharp pointed object through the air and attempt to maintain some degree of accuracy.

  Now THAT'S a sport.

        That always cracks me up when they show that film and you see the fan throw his drink on Artest, oops, excuse me, Metta World Peace. Artest is big and gave a Thunder player a concussion with an elbow last season but the fan didn't seem to be scared.

  • Put wheels on it, and make it go fast, and I'm interested. Even then, I have no interest in who wins, but the beauty of the speed and danger, along with all the technical aspects, is what bring me in.

• I wouldn't give a plugged nickel for ANYTHING with the endorsement of, or named after, any sports figure. But then, I never did idolize people for their ability to throw a ball.

• The hooliganism, violence, and stampedes often connected to the new star shoe rollouts is a depressing witness to the decay of the country under liberalism. People with few or no values willing to seriously injure for a shoe.

  • Not to mention that the majority of the people that buy them have no visible means of support, at least nothing legal.

• Noe she won't have to wear her $800 boots in the garden.

• Holy cow those are UGLY!
