But he is a fetish object for the far right, he’s sort of the rubber bustier of the far right — you know, they all have to go and touch him, as it were.”

Actually, I agree with him. Reagan was a lousy president (though worse was to come) who inflated a massive deficit, destroyed industries, created a culture of corporate socialism for the rich and supported terrorism in three continents.The truth is, is that he has become a figure head for Fox watching right wingers who need life spoon fed to them. The reality is that we have not had a real right wing president for nearly century, just a long list of sell out pussies!
For this squirrel to show that kind of disrespect it has to be something really personal like maybe one night after a few martinis Ronald the man may have made a remark like, " what the hell possesed you to become a ballarina?"

It's pretty simple really. His Dad is this kid's meal ticket. He's proven time and again that he has no talent or skill that could be marketed in the real world and he already burned any bridges he may have had with conservatives (bridges via his dad). Even the US mainstream networks are backing away from him so he has to look abroad. In a very real sense I feel sorry for him. I think he knows his dad loved him but probably didn't have a lot of respect for him as a person. It's must grate on him that the only way he has to put food on the table is by saying bad things about his father and not by any real ability on his part.
