North America about to drown in oil. Peak Oil theorists can go suck eggs. The flood of North American crude oil is about to become a deluge because Mexico is dismantling a 75-year-old barrier to foreign investment in oil fields. The move is projected to double Mexico’s output – the equivalent of adding another Nigeria to world supply.

Prepare for an executive order or legislation preventing US companies from investing in Mexican oil.
My only concern here is that Mexico is setting the oil companies up for a Chavez move. Get the infrastructure and technology in place, then nationalize the business and kick out the foreign companies.

Years ago, Editor helped disabuse me of my Peak Oil whining. Perlcat assisted.
I did some research, and was able to remove that from the list of global anxieties. Then i was able to liberate an old friend of the same fear..!
