The problem is that he had to get a politician involved. His going to whomever manages the location should have been enough... One assumes that he did ask a manager to intervene and he still left the place without it... that is a problem.
ISIS is a recognized terrorist organization even so much that the terrorist organization recognizes that their actions are terrorist in nature. So the person/people that denied him the plates felt sensible about a plate that said "No Isis"? So that says A LOT about the people denying him those and those people should be put on a list and observed.
Maybe they refused it because he didn't call them ISIL like Obama does.

Are you talking about veterans plates too? I don't think so. I have had the same purple heart veterans plate on my pickup(s) for over 20 years and I'll be damned if I will let anyone tell me I should get another so I can be politically correct.
Nope, keep the Veteran plates, those are earned, get rid of the ones that have undecipherable phrases, most people who have those on their cars drive like assholes anyway.
