I am getting real tired of the phony outrage over this and Ferguson. When these people (Sharpton, et-al) are willing to be outraged about the hundreds and hundreds of black people murdered each year by other black people, and the thousands of black babies that are aborted by their mothers every year, as opposed to the 2 black people that died fighting with the cops, then we might have something to talk about.
Exactly. Michael Ferguson's family is still clinging to the delusion that he was shot in the back running away. I agree that the cops in thiscase were outof line using achoke hold, but why did the incident dscalte to. A take down situation. Ruld #1. Do NOT fight with or threaten thdcops. If they are wrong, it can be work e d out later.
THOSE are inconvenient truths that must stay unspoken or the whole race baiting industry unravels.

I guess this high ranking cop thought all the other problems like guns, drugs, murder, sexual assault and all the rest were under control so lets arrest a guy for selling untaxed cigarettes. Waste of manpower and money. But this guy is not going to fall, he has, shall we say the right look for a high ranking job?
Another amazing case of those at the top telling those at the bottom to go after small time crime cause its a quality of life issue. You quality of life rises substantially when you don't get killed by a thug who wants to steal you car and take your wallet.
I would imagine in the Big Apple that the anit smoking crazies are the driver behind this, plus the fact the city ain't getting it's fair share of cigarette taxes. follow da money.
So let's get this straight; selling untaxed cigarettes is a "quality of life issue", while armed gang members terrorizing citizens is not. Welcome to life in Comrade De Blasio's Utopia.
Now we're getting somewhere. Like I said, the whole process was complaint driven and this is about the government power structure protecting its revenue source.
In defense of the complainants, I wouldn't want a bunch of guys selling loose cigarettes in front on my business either.
