It seems that during your wonderful multicultural upbringing and international education you were never taught, or disregarded a very basic American tenet. Or maybe because of your hectic schedule with the election so near it got lost in the bedlam of trying to raise funds and stopping the hemorrhage of voter confidence that has besieged your administration. Does it matter? This story should be an election changer but the MSM (Fox excepted) will run interference for Obama through November 6th. After that they may turn their attention to this fiasco.

The more the information flows out (Clintons involved) the more it appears that barry let an ambassador die in hopes he could ride to the rescue and appear to be tough on those who he thought would just play nice. What a douche. Now we have brave men dead because barry wanted to play a game and he lost his ass. Either way the election falls out, it is time to draw articles of impeachment for this action and or a grand jury to hear all of the evidence and then return a true bill for four counts of 1st degree murder, 4 counts of wanton endangerment, so many counts of perjury that a calculator is needed.

Me: your sentiment, obviously well-intentioned, and the facts that have been presented by both Reuters and Fox don't mesh. Three calls for help were ignored. Those four men were left to die. The whole episode lasted for several hours and the administration new exactly what was happening. They lied about if for two weeks and imprisoned (where he remains) the man who made the NONoffending video. Obama then went to bed and then flew to campaign in Nevada the next day. Worse, to perpetuate the lie, the administration bought TV time in Pakistan for sure and maybe other countries to apologize for the video, which led to violent demonstrations in 28 different countries as most of those populations new absolutely nothing of the video until we advertised it. No administration would ever get a pass on this except this one. On my iPad I have apps for USA Today, ABC, CBS, CNN and none of those news outlets are covering this. That is shameful and a dereliction of their duty and really, their reason for being. This is a scandal of the highest order and to presume that Obama did his best simply doesn't add up to what we know to be true. I don't hate Obama at a personal level but that does not change my opinion of him being a very poor president whose sole mission is to sow divisiveness among Americans, IMO.

Conservative: According to the latest information, the administration was informed through a (recently released) email at least 2 hours after the attack that an attack was taking place. Three times help was requested and three times these brave men were ordered to 'stand down.' I cannot think of a good reason why our commanders would not americans defend our embassy.

Liberal A: I respect Petraeus an i get the need to lay blame. My father was trapped in the embassy in Beirut...as horrific as that was for him, he never once blamed the President or anyone else...he knew that it was so much more complicated than that. I believe that is the case here..a horrible, horrible tragedy but I don't think think Obama is to blame...anymore than he deserves credit for the death of Bin Laden...

Liberal A: As opposed to the ones of the previous administrations?!!! I've known plenty of high level administrators, military personnel, ambassadors and elected officials. There is a lot kept from the public for safety and not for nefarious purposes. Hate if that helps you somehow but please at least consider that things might be more complicated than you realize.

Me: I've never used the word "hate". I fully understand things can be more complicated than they seem but that doesn't change the facts in this situation. In fact, Occam's razor probably applies here. The administration dropped the ball then lied and covered up by blaming a video. That most of the media is ignoring this is appalling. Lastly, since you brought up previous administrations, be assured that if this were a Republican administration the same news outlets that are ignoring this story now would be calling for that president's head. Rightfully so. I am conservative but I'm no water carrier for the GOP. When they are wrong, I look for accountability there too.

I went easy on her since her husband is a solid conservative and he is a good friend. She is a true bleeding heart, which by definition, means she misses the point on everything.
I don't do fb but I think they should add an oh, little Mickey Mouse glove looking icon, or the don't walk palm beside the like button. That way you could keep track of smackdowns too.
