Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages.     Did you see where the President was chewing gum during the D-Day memorial service? It is one thing that he doesn't care about the occasion but the socialist leaders present were pissed he didn't bring enough for everyone to have a piece.

        I just got Andrew McCarthy's new book, Faithless Execution: building the political case for Obama's impeachment. I look forward to getting started on the flight I am about to take. It isn't a kindle version. It is a real book and I hope every liberal on board sees the cover. I'm usually not passive-aggressive but I make the exception for Obama supporters.

        I just came across a book at a yard sale the other day. Compassion Versus Guilt and other essays By Thomas Sowell. It was printed in 1987. I paid a quarter for it. Can't wait to get into it.
