Obama: “Chicago is an example of what makes this country great.” Mmmm, like high taxes, looming bankruptcy and crappy machine politics that spawn empty-suit pseudo-god politicians? Great.

Chicago is a shinning example of what makes this country great? uh huh....and Barney Frank likes girls.....Neither statement makes any sense, but consider the source....The great community organizer, with head firmly planted in azz.
Chicago being an example of what makes this country great is like saying a hydrogen bomb is a great example of a room heater.
Chicago is a really fun city to visit, but it's so dangerous that it's not worth going to. Also, the last time I was there, in 2008, I just drove in for a concert at Allstate Arena right across from O'Hare, & the effing tollways add up. I went through almost $15 just driving on 94/90 from the Wisconsin border to the arena & back. In & out, & I-DOT just sticks it to you at every chance.
I would never want to live there, & as a lifelong Bears fan, I would love to see them at Soldier Field. But I think it would be easier, cheaper, & safer to see them in Green Bay. I'm starting to think about doing that as a roady.

I think it would be easier, cheaper, & safer to see them in Green Bay ON TELEVISION AT HOME!!!
Beer and food are much cheaper that way, and you don't have to worry about DUI or Green Bay fans kicking your ass for cheering for the Bears! ;-)
Been there several times and not just at O'Hara, driven thru 3 or 4 times when I was younger (have family in Janesville, WI). For the most part, I prefer the people (or lack of) and the countryside west of the Rockies and away from the 'Big Cities'. Not saying there aren't good people east of the Rockies, know a fair number of them, most of the ones I know live in small towns or on farms, more to my liking.
I'm willin' to bet you've licked a salt block or 2 Dragonfish.
LOL. Licked it? Hell, we broke off chunks and ate them.
Try doing a daily commute with that nonsense. It was with enormous pleasure that I moved to Arizona. You couldn't pay me enough to go back.
Obama introducing rahm'' Say hello to my little friend.''
I thought he said that when he unzipped....
No, that was when he said "I can't find my little friend".
LOL someone emailed me this: "VOTING IN CHICAGO: My father was a staunch conservative and voted straight ticket Republican until the day he died.
Now, he votes Democrat.
He was telling a joke, wasn't he??
That was the punch line.
If this Country was ever to receive an enema, Chicago will be the location of the applicator insertion. But since it's the closest thing in the US to the 3rd world country of "Dear Leader's" birth, I can see why he likes the place so much.
I thought that was Detroit, another fine example of Democrat rule.
I think what he meant to say was, "Chicago is a shining example of what makes this country a great place for corrupt politicians to prosper."
God, I thought it was a joke headline. He really said it.
The really scary thing is that he meant it, too.
Chicago: Democrat party rule, machine politics, Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, ward heelers, endemic corruption, the voting dead, marauding street gangs, the "Chicago intifada", organized crime, 228 murders*, a collapsing public school system, high taxes, monumental debt,
A fine example, and it's where Obama wants to take America.
*IN 2012, to date.
Don't forget the astronomically high violent crime rate and voter fraud.
And crushing poverty.
Anthony Cumia of the Opie & Anthony Show on Sirius/XM listens to the Chicago police scanner through an ap on 1 of his Apple thingys. He says it's amazing to hear how violent Chicago is just by listening to the police scanner.
