Obama, Clinton silent on hostage crisis. About 40 people, including at least 7 Americans, are being held hostage by Islamists mostly peaceful hostage takers in Algeria but Obama and Clinton are mum. We infer they consider this to be not worthy of their attention but whether law-abiding citizens own guns apparently is. Great, more Nanny Bloombergs. BTW, Romney mentioned the brewing conflict in the area during one of the debates and was mocked for it. Great job, media.

Incidentally, why are Americans helping the Algerians get oil? That they will then sell to us at exhorbitant prices. Just like the middle east, that oil would still be underground if Americans had not gone over and thaught them how to get to it. Why don't we charge for that service?
It's part of Obama's plan for energy independence.
Obama has an observable behavioral pattern in such instances, on display here again today. When something unscripted happens, potentially unflattering or damaging, he hides. No comment. Nothing from the WH until a perfectly scripted response can be manufactured. He and his cronies have to go over each BS scenario, one by one, in order to find the one least damaging and the one the will make him look as good as possible, considering. One scenario NEVER considered though, is telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
It is in these cases that today's complicit media exhibit their most traitorous behavior. Just accept any BS rational offered, kiss O's feet once more, and move on.
