We already have a high speed choo choo in New Mexico, called the Railrunner, and according to gooberment officials it is a great success!
It was the brainchild of former goobernor $Bill Richardson, y'all know him as the guy who is always going to North Korea to kiss their ass over whatever, and so far it has only cost us taxpayers about $140 million to operate. That isn't counting the $500 million it cost to build, just operating costs. It took 5 years before they could "count" the one millionth rider, it serves a whopping .02% of the population in New Mexico, and the other half of the population of the state who do not live anywhere near Albukookoo or the train have to help pay for it.
I live 3 hours driving time from Albuquerque, have never seen the choo choo nor will ever ride it, and I have to help pay for it? You Kalifornios better start buying vasoline in 5 gallon buckets because you, like we have been, are going to get screwed with a sandpaper rubber if this nonsense gets approved.
I am sure they would insist that high taxes and over regulation actually attract businesses to the state.
I disagree!!! It's feasable if they have about 800 years to pay for it and even then that would be with a very tight budget.

As the yearsgfo by his insane, uselsss project will go on sucking up ever more tax money, it will never pay for itself and may never be completed. The over taxed citizens of California are on the high speed road to bankruptcy.
