Obama misquotes another Republican. This time it’s Rutherford B. Hayes, 19th president, dead for 120 years. Obama claims he didn’t like the telephone – turns out he loved the damn thing. Obama claims he was looking backwards – turns out he was cutting edge, being the first president to use a telephone, typewriter, and phonograph in the White House.

One just has to remember that n0bama 2012 is just speaking to his base. Does anyone really believe that anyone in the OWS crowd has ever heard of Rutherford B Hayes, much less know that he was the 19th President of United States? n0bama 2012 is actually smart like a fox - though I truly believe his knowledge of American History is totally lacking, and he probably actually BELIEVES Lincoln built the Intercontinental Railroad.
In a time when the US President has traveled to "all 57 States" this is just another example of why this man must be replaced and retired.
Don't look behind the curtain, anyone, the wizard-president is brilliant and never makes gaffes. Only the mistakes of Bush 43, Palin, Quayle, Bachmann, Perry, Ford and other Republicans are to be trumpted so they can be portrayed as stupid.
Remember when Bush43 was accused of having an earpiece during a 2004 debate? The left thought he was getting his answers directly into his ear. They studied images from the debate to see if they could find the radio pack needed for such a device...

...too funny.
Ahhh don't be so hard on dickboy, he was just reading the words on the teleprompter. Clearly a set up by a Republican operative....
Bingo! He has to stick to the telepromter, because when he goes away from it, he says what he means.
barry is so ass backward he thinks what is up is down and what is down is up.
The Smartest Man in the room is beginning to have as many gaffs as Joe Biteme. From a history standpoint, "Dear Leader" has learned nothing, and thus has condemned the whole country to repeat it.
Joe Biteme IS the smartest man in that room!
Strike 3, fathead, head for the showers.
Oh did I say "3"? More like THREE MILLION by now.
3 trillion and counting
Must've confused Hayes with Lyndon Johnson, the inventor of the intercontinental railroad.
LOL. That was Abraham Lincoln he gave credit for the "intercontinental railroad." There were so many things wrong in such a short period of time in that speech it was almost breathtaking. One, Lincoln didn't have much to do with building the railroad (he was kinda busy with the Civil War). Two, the damn thing turned into a giant boondoggle government scandal just like Solyndra, so not a good example, Barry. Three, he mentions Chinese workers like it's a good thing they helped build the railroad, when in fact they were abused and pretty much treated as slaves. And four, of course, it wasn't an "intercontinental" railroad. He and his speech writers are all idiots.
Oh, right, Lyndon Johnson is the Austrian-speaking corpseman.
LOL.
Even one of my most liberal friends was pissed about the corpseman thing. He served with a unit of Marines in Vietnam in the late 60's, as a Navy Corpsman, and he's damn proud of it.
