Obama Names Himself ‘Scientist-in-Chief’: Being a convincing liar can get you pretty far in this country . . . at least as far as The White House. Largely this is because ascending to the position requires the consensus of a people far more interested in American Idol than they are in the American ideal. Science, however, carries a higher standard for success. Results matter. Metrics matter. And you can’t excel at it, or even consider yourself a part of it, if your only association with the discipline is anointing yourself its leader. To be fair to President Daft Vader this may not be his entire fault. He knows so little about anything that it is likely he is ignorant of this as well.

    also not radical...just VERY opinionated and staunch in some cases, regarding the North Korea situation. I have NO sympathy for terrorism and dictator tyrants...so I couldn't care less about what happens to their tyrant. Just want our people to be kept safe at whatever means necessary is all. I say a lot of stupid things, so I hope it doesn't sound almost radical...

    I just freaking hate sociopaths.

    Thanks so much everyone for the welcome. And yes, they say Aspergers' kids have an extra sense of creativity. Ironically though while most others like fiction stories, we like nonfiction. ADHD, not sure regarding creativity, it's mainly the hyperactivity edition of ADD.

    Tons of famous, successful people have purportedly both, and ADHD and Aspergers' are often diagnosed together in a lot of cases.

As part of the internet business, it gets its share of critics and moaners. The odd thing though is that I've sent to people using your email provider before, and it's gone through.     As for Ron Paul, I'm not a big fan of Libertarian-slanting conservativism. I'm a standard-issue Republican. I am against abortion though for multiple reasons, I am vehemently against legalizing drugs, I believe in a strong military and defense, and the list goes.

    However, I think you mean Rand Paul, right? Rand Paul is good, better definitely than his father.

    But nevertheless, I am, firstly and foremost, a Newt Gingrich, Rush Limbaugh (not technically a politician, but I've decided to put him here regardless), Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin, and so on.

    I actually have, on one occasion, met Craig Dally, Charlie Dent, Pat Brown, and Julie Harhart.

    I was in the newspaper. I had been at their open house for a new office of Julie Harhart's in the town where I live, and we had arrived at the latter part of the "event," and she asked if I wanted to be in the newspaper. I had thought she'd been kidding, but surely enough, she wasn't, it turned out.

    I do know, though, that Dave Mustayne and David Ellefson from Megadeth, Kid Rock, Matt Shadows from A7X, Sully Erna from Godsmack, are ALL conservative as well.

    Interesting fact, very interesting. I drive my parents nuts too much asking "is this guy republican, is he liberal, did he do drug," etc., so I'm glad to know that. Now I'm going to be able to tell them about that. They LOVE metal and hard rock as well, but Manson is one musician they aren't too fond of, though my father likes some songs of his occasionally.

    Also Dave Mustayne and David Ellefson are Lutheran like myself. (Evangelical Lutheran in my case).

          • Most of them, not all are leftist.

            But true, most are.

            But as for jokes, I like to use them, and do occasionally...mostly I keep it in emails though, but: the only thing I have to worry about if using them in class is: I would get a lower grade. In high school I could suffer a few points off, but in College, it could mean the difference between transferring and getting my PhD and not.

            I tend to get all my wisecracks out before class.

            If the professor is easy-going enough, then I make a couple somewhat often.

            The thing is: even when I'm not trying to be funny, I tend to come off as quirky so people laugh. So not always is it intentional, but if I'm wondering why the slideshow shows something...or says something.....you get what I mean, then I ask how exactly are the 2 related, and people laugh. I might be asking because I genuinely don't understand, but it ends up being funny.

            But I've had...well only one professor that I am almost positive is conservative.

            The others I'm not sure, aside from 2 of whom I know are liberal, one definitely more than the other (being an anarchist and hippy), the other one being old-school hippy and with conservative opinions on crime and punishment for instance, but then having protested against the Vietnam War and PERHAPS being for welfare (wasn't sure if he had been arguing it to get me to open my mind or that he TRULY believes in it, though something in me tells me he actually does believe it himself; then again he was a genuine believer in the antiwar movement. I still don't agree with it, but I DID get him to say as much as that Jane Fonda is...in his words, an a-word-hole, but from him, uncensored, which aside from the cursing, I agree with the overall point, Fonda IS one, a complete butthole. I also was able to get as much out of him as that he didn't agree with the anti-americanism and alienation of the soldiers dying over there. In the end, he's still majorly LIBERAL, just not new-age hippy. Hippy in a... different, hard-to-explain way). Then all my other past professors could be either conservative or liberal, I couldn't tell, though probably moderate, not either. One of them in particular, has kept it securely hidden, and told me he'd tell me at the end of the course after I guess (he was my ALL-TIME FAVORITE professor, and he's Christian, a devout one, which leads me to think, even if he's moderate, he's conservative in regards to moral values and societal issues, and not one of the ANTI-Christian or atheist Ariana Huffington or Charlie Sheen-type extremist liberals, for definite sureness, but I'd say probably moderate CONSERVATIVE. I may be wrong). One of the professors I have this semester, I think is ...perhaps moderate liberal.

            All in all, the only ones who have actually pushed (depending on how you look at it) their agenda on me, were the 2 hippies, and only really those, most of all.

            The others have always encouraged me to believe in what I believe in, regardless of what other people might try to influence me towards.

            So all in all, most of my professors are fair, and only 2 this semester have really been questionably push-liberal. The others, whether they be conservative or liberal is unknown to me, but they definitely have kept it INCREDIBLY hidden and terrifyingly WELL. I can usually pick up on stuff, but most of my past professors have made it INCREDIBLY hard for me to discern.

            Sorry I feel like I've reiterated the samecouple things over and over in this post, I hope I haven't annoyed anyone here at all, sorry.

            But in the end, YES, I agree 100%, the education system is DISTURBINGLY liberal, to the degree it irks me substantially.

            I do argue with my professors at the end and at the beginning of my classes, so it feels good to get it off my chest those times when I do.

            In the end, even if they're liberal or conservative, I definitely do NOT agree with their philosophy on politics AT ALL, but I have learned to like most of them. Most are helpful, and I enjoy most of my classes.

            I AM the OUTSPOKEN, Rush Limbaugh III/Sean Hannity Republican, sometimes even surpassing them in regards to staunchness, but I've been becoming better at coping and accepting. STILL not my best spot of social interaction. There ARE times where I will go ON and ON and ON and ON and ON about something meaningless, that everyone in the room is pulling out their hair and yelling at me to stop, even when they agree with me on the issue and even when they don't.

            As an example, my parents, and well...my WHOLE family is incredibly conservative like myself, but they get VERY annoyed at me when I yell at the TV.

            For that matter, when I am yelling at Law and Order SVU because the scumbag lowlif rapist/killer (I bloody hate lowlives) get off scott-free, because of a stupid overly-liberalized jury system and an imbecile judge, and the INCREDIBLY-IMmoral defense attorneys.

            I stinking HATE defense attorneys....they drive me nuts, the stunts they pull.

            Alcohaulism is "a disease" and so if I shoot someone because I walk into the wrong house.

            It's a bunch of HIGH-GRADE Platypus butt-crap. If you kill someone, I bloody don't care if you're drunk or on LSD, it's YOUR fault you had taken that drug or had that sip, therefore ANYTHING whatsoever that comes of it, is THAT PERSON'S FAULT.

            Then things like Rodney King. It's NOT simply racism just because the person is black who's toppled. The world is stupid in that it believes whenever a person HAPPENS to be of a certain race, when attacked or pursued, that it automatically is because of RACISM.

            IT'S NOT.

            Has it ever occured to the world that PERHAPS it might have been because Rodney King was committing a CRIME. The cops were JUST doing their JOBS. THEY are the heroes. To NOT ONLY let King go when he was OBVIOUSLY not victimized and OBVIOUSLY the criminal, but ALSO to punish cops for DOING THEIR JOBS, is ABSOLUTELY sickening.

            If a Christian is verbally attacked there is NO outcry. However if an atheist or Muslim or Jew is attacked, it's automatically bigotry.

            That's the ONE-side-slanted world we live in.

            Same way people think KKK is supremacist (NOT arguing they aren't, please read the rest of the sentence), but to say the black panthers are supremacist is ALIEN to most wackjobs.

            Similarly, to most liberals, racism is ACTUALLY blackism. To them, racism means white against black.

            The TRUTH is that that's crap. Racism is ANY RACE against ANY OTHER RACE.

            That means white against black, black against white, asian aganst black, asian against white, white against hispanic, black against hispanic, asian against hispanic, etc. The list GOES ON. There's ALL of this VERY commonly in bad parts of major cities like New York. Historically, it's created gangs.

            Lastly, I need to get off my chest: enforcing immigration policy is NOT racist. We are SIMPLY upholding the law. I see NO racism in that.

            Sorry everyone. I just needed to get that all off my chest before I go home. I hope it's okay that I've ranted that lengthily, sorry. If I have annoyed anyone, I am terribly sorry.

            Then again in real life, I make LITERALLY everything a joke. I did that in high school. Surprising that I had gotten good grades as I had, and for that matter, that I still talk to those teachers through email. I try not to do it at college though. Different learning environment. Maybe a joke here and there, but much more.......serious...one level up in the educational system.

          • Don't let them fool you. College professors are there mainly because they follow the leftist line, and will try to indoctrinate you. Humor may be your best offense/defense when trying to make a conservative point when in a class of loony leftists.
