Obama pivots to economy for 21st time

Obama pivots to economy for 21st time. “For the 21st time in just five years …the White House announced Thursday that ‘President Barack Obama will try to shift the national conversation to economic growth.'” He could try changing the subject to something he actually knows something about, but that would mean he would be silent.

    • The economy that is circling the drain. It's just a matter of time before it all goes to hell, and I don't mean the hell we are experiencing now, but a true, hardcore, SHTF hell!

    • What economy? The purposefully maintained crisis that serves as his fall back position every time something inconvenient comes up- like the intended results his policies and those "bogus" scandals... how many of them are there? This progressive coup would not be able to make any inroads into its campaign of destruction without the knowing complicity of the "news" media- which is equally guilty of the crimes being committed by the O-Team

      • I fully understand that stink, but he keeps talking about "the economy" as if it's growing in size and scope. The only thing growing about this economy is the number of people on food stamps and welfare and the length of Obama's nose as he doubles down on his lying. We're nearly at the tipping point, by design, and when that happens, we're toast...unless we start drawing blood! Like I've said before: "This shit isn't funny anymore!"

  • I am going to reveal to you seven profound words.

With these words you will have a new understanding of various issues you have contemplated at length.

If these words were spoken years ago, we would have entirely different influences in music, movies, and language.

If these words were spoken years ago, we would have a much smaller national deficit.

If these words were spoken years ago, we would have had far less turmoil in America.

If these words were spoken years ago, we would have all of our great cities prospering as well as the small towns.

If these words were spoken years ago, we would have far less violence and have far less need for gun control.

    READY ??????

Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first.

  • Ensuring that the economy remains in shambles has certainly furnished something he can always pivot to when his other chickens try to come home to roost.... and he can always (with media help of course) continue to divert blame for the economic mess onto Bush and his oh-so unpatriotic $9 trillion deficit.... oops... another one of those chickens is trying to roost- so he'll "honor" the veterans for now.

  • Hey gang, quick question off-topic here. Anybody recall a story, possibly just within the last year, about a media flunky doing a "documentary" on Tantrums, someone asked if he found any negatives or downside, and his response was that there was just too much wonderful material to cram into one short film?

And a reliable source/cite? Thanks. I wanted to reference it on another site but don't want to go in without backup.

  • All that pivoting must be making him dizzy from spinning around in circles. It was my understanding that quagmire had fixed the economy and we were all about to experience the best of times here in the land of Oz. If this is true why all the pivoting? Guess it's another of the lies that has been told by quagmire, his administration and the lapdogs msm

    • That's the problem, he thinks he's in OZ, and he follows their work schedule:
"We get up at 12, start to work at 1, take an hour for lunch, and then at 2 we're done."

  • Oh goodie, how'd that work out the last time?

"Remember when Obama said he had a “laser-like focus” on jobs? It was the first thing he thought about after waking up, and the last thing he thought about at night."

[edit] wasn't "laser-like focus on jobs" the buzz in 2011?

  • What it should say is "I need to shift the focus from being caught lying my ass off again"
