Obama spends more time golfing than working on the economy

Confirmed: Obama spends more time golfing than working on the economy. The numbers for his presidency are 600 hours spent playing golf, 412 hours in economic meetings. On the bright side, more hours probably wouldn’t have helped the economy – the extra hours sure didn’t help his golf game.

  • Romney should work this stat into a commercial and even mention it during his acceptance speech.

    • He should just say:

"I don't play golf, so I'll have that much more time to work on the economy."

That would putt put him over the top!

  • O M G ! Leave B. Hussein Obama on the GOLF COURSE ! He can't screw up the Country nearly as fast while on the LINKS as he can sitting in the Oval Office with his feet on the desk.

  • Lets see here, 600 hours divided by 40 hours, (Assuming the lazy bastard works 40 hours a week) ends up being 15 weeks. That's almost 4 months of golf, divided by 4 again equals 1 month per year of golf. Add in all the vacations, it will be closer to 3 months a year. Not exactly getting our monies worth now are we?

  • b-b-b-b-b-ut I just read the other day that he "wakes up each day" and that he spends his "entire waking hours" thinking of me (us) and how he can help me (us). How can that be if he's also on the golf course, unless we all agree that he IS "the one, the messiah, the all-knowing man-with-the-stash." I'm so glad I don't have to build anything, because Mr. Obama is looking out for my best interest--he tells me so it must be true, right?

      • A "second term", God forbid! That's not what I meant. I was thinking that Obama will say that his muffed tee shoe on the economy somehow doesn't count. No penalty stroke for The One.

        • I don't know, the more I think about it, the more I think "I need a Mulligan!" would be a perfect campaign slogan for Obama-Biden 2012.

  • I suggest he seek a home near a private golf course that is up for sale so he and the family have a place to move to come Jan. 20th That way he can work on his 3rd non written by him book of how great of a president he thinks he was.

    • My sentiment exactly!! Thanks, now if we could get him to stop giving away billions to anyone wanting financing for one hare-brained scheme after another!

      • Remember "Brewsters Millions"?
Richard Pryor was a failed baseball player that inherited $300 million bucks if he could spend $30 million in 30 days and have no assets afterward?
Every harebrained psycho that came into his office with a business idea, he financed it.
        Kinda like Obama.
