Obama still sinking, momentum is towards Romney. The magic number is 47%… no, not the 47% from that stupid video but the 47% of the vote Obama seems to be stuck at in important swing states. If Il Doo-Che ain’t above 50% after 4 years of hopeless change, he ain’t gonna get there in the last 2 days.

Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Cured morbid fear of heights when I learned to look at them as lengths standing on end. Uncompromising in refusal to accept browser cookies. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. For recreation, I run, hike, kayak and play tennis but will not consider synchronized swimming under any circumstances.

  • I have a dream, that all eligible voters will come together in harmony and build a better future by replacing Barak Hussein Obama (C) (commie), with Mitt (Mormon) Romney (R) on November 6th, 2012.           Not to impugn the real Vlad, Flash's majestic steed. He promised me when I ever made it back out there he'd show me the nuances of an ocean kayak, without letting me drown or taking video (stills I had to agree to, it's his passion)

          • I know you used to do Hulu, but Imdb has a huge library of old shows too, http://www.tvland.com/shows/gunsmoke/full-episodes/the-good-people, with CC right there easy to turn on\off on the control panel and full screen. (always wanted to ask you about the Korean soaps? you used to talk about, afraid I'd get hooked).

            They have some full length movies and a lot of interesting Indie shorts if you can wade through the bs to find them.

            I like Crackle too, besides being free :) , the way I sleep (or not) they have decent movies and some old tv that fit my sched. instead of starting in the middle @ 3am on cable.

            i'm having to rely on basic hulu but it's mostly crap, I wasn't aware imdb had movies i could watch on site.
            crackle's good.
            The Duo, a very good korean television series, with a very fine actor: Lee Moon-sik
            that's on Hulu, but it may be hulu plus.

  • Look at the internals of the campaigns. See where they are and you will know what is up. Romney has gone into PA tonight. He packed them in in Ohio, he and Ryan have been in Wisconsin and Virginia. As the story below states when people get up in the middle of your speech and head for the exits in a battle ground state. That is not a good sign.

    I saw a story where blow hard Jim Crammer was calling a barry landslide in the electoral college. Having watched his show and used his services for a short period of time (no help at all, lost money) he is currying favor with Jarrett just in case.

    • If Obama wasn't concerned about Pa he would not be sending Bill Clinton to Scranton on Monday night. Pa is in play, as are all the swing states. The media won't tell you that, but it's the truth.

    • Look at the polls. The only way Obama comes out ahead is Dem + 4, 6, 8 or whatever over sampling it takes.

  • This sounds so good, and yet I got an email (see below) from John Ziegler, that fellow who produced the video about how the media so viciously attack Palin. What do you think?

    I just wanted to touch base with you before the election. I have written a column connecting the Media Malpractice of 2008 to that of 2012 and why, unfortunately, I believe that President Obama is a heavy favorite to win the electoral college.
    This election could have and should have been won, but the media just wouldn't allow it and the Romney campaign miscaluated when they wimped out in the last debate.
    I wish I had better news.
