Obama: “We’re the country that built the Intercontinental Railroad.” INTERcontinental, as in the railroad that goes to Europe from the 57 states??? That must’ve been where all those railroad guys learned to speak Austrian, not to mention the corpsemen. Yeah, we’re sorry to keep beating a dead brain but we’ve been out of work for a while and we’ve got to pass the time somehow.

Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Cured morbid fear of heights when I learned to look at them as lengths standing on end. Uncompromising in refusal to accept browser cookies. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. For recreation, I run, hike, kayak and play tennis but will not consider synchronized swimming under any circumstances.

  • Whoooooooooooooooooooooooooo Whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...The crazy train makes another stop in one of the 57 states...

    • They probably had to change it from 'Transcontinental' due to his inability to read it without chuckling or getting aroused since it reminds him of smoking crack with his tranny friends in Chicago. He probably messed it up so many times practicing that they figure Intercontinental means the same thing (even though it doesn't) so just use that instead! Simple fix.

  • The strangest part is he's been calling it that for A YEAR and no one in the mainstream media calls him on it ever. This isn't a one time thing.

    • tcw: "Maybe Barack writes the script for Al Sharpton’s"

Since Bill Ayers wrote 2 books for BHO, I doubt BHO has the ability to write for anyone. lol

  • How many BHO's does it take to change a lightbulb?

    None.

The best BHO can do is HOPE the lightbulb will CHANGE itself so he can take the credit

  • Is this the same transcontinental railroad that crosses all 57 states and is carrying the Marine Corpse to fight the movement of the teutonic plates?

    • DON'T TOUCH THOSE PLATES!

Moochelle is eating off of them. She'll beat the crap outta' you with her garden rake an' then you'll need a Navy corpseman to assist you right after he gets back from the war with Libya that we're not in.

  • The best part is this little campaign stop cost just south of one million dollars for AF! alone. Add in the setup, and the lost business time and 0 probably sapped out three million dollars of economic output.

That, boys and girls, is how you build up an economy to a community activist.

  • Looks like their "One Trick Pony" just shit on the stage again.

Funny thing... I can't recall the trick he's supposed to be so good at.

  • The disappointing thing is not so much that he has (again) said something so stupid; no, really, I've come to expect it from him. It's that the MSM ignores his gaffs while they were quick to cover them in detail with the last president.

  • Didn't he make this same mistak...er, misstatement a few months back? Or was that another giant-brained Progressive historian?

    • I think he said something about the government building the first railroad or something. Maybe he thought it was a 19th century bullet train. He makes so many gaffes, it's hard to keep them straight.

      • Yeah, he made some stupid comment about the railroad and Lincoln. I don't rememebr the details. EDITOR? I think you had a link to that story. Can you provide it for us? THank you! <3
