The gooberment screwed the pooch when it comes to veterans care too. Obummercare is a clusterf**k, veterans healthcare has gotten worse even though another entire bureaucracy has been set up, and millions of dollars wasted, to help vets get timely care. Everything this administration has touched has turned to crap and the blame does not lay on the Obummer's shoulders alone. There are 535 other elected fools in Washingtoon, plus 9 pussies on the Potomac, who share the blame for the healthcare mess.
VA healthcare is a scary endeavor.
I am going to have to have surgery soon, I refuse to go near the VA for this. Back in Feb, I was rear ended, and have a blown out disc in my neck. Instead of being round, it is tear-drop shaped, and pressing against my spinal cord. If I don't have the surgery, I will become paralyzed. I have to have the disc removed, a spacer inserted, and the vertebrae fused. I will be out of work for at least a month under optimum circumstances. If you think I would let the VA do this surgery, you're nuts! First, I'll be lucky if they schedule it before paralysis sets in, second, I doubt they can do it without screwing it up, and third, if they screw it up, I have no recourse to sue. Which means I will become destitute. No, I will be going to a well respected surgeon outside the VA system.

Yeah. I'm not looking forward to having to deal with the VA next year. I am lucky. I'll have HC options out of the system. Many vets aren't that lucky.

I have zero sympathy for the insurance companies. They voluntarily crawled in bed with the Obamacare slut so they have no one to blame but themselves when they come down with a dose of the fiscal clap.
