Obama tweaked Sarkozy about his looks, Sarkozy and his country were not especially amused. Obama congratulated the Sarkozys on the birth of their daughter by saying “…I informed Nicolas on the way in that I am confident that Giulia inherited her mother’s looks rather than her father’s, which I think is an excellent thing.” Yeah, sounds like much ado about nothing, but if Bush had said something like this, the left and their media puppets would be calling him “moron” non-stop for the next 6 months.

Damn, this guy is just embarassing. Obama has the poise and maturity of a high school sophmore; his lack of social graces becomes even more evident when he tries to hang out with the adults. And, one of these days, the adults are going to stop inviting him to their meetings.
Maybe Obama's advisors can duct tape a teleprompter to his forehead and perhaps avoid the social gaffes he is prone to.
Sure, people joke like this all of the time, but there's nothing appropriate about a President of the United States doing it at an international summit. Context is everything.
