I had hope that Arnold would at least be tough and get spending under control even if he was a social liberal but he seemed to be a grave disappointment.

This is absolutely false. I've visited the site several times. This is not even the way it's conducted. It's likely not even at the site; it's the wrong background. There are no microphones unless there's a speaker standing on the steps of City Hall. The general assemblies are on the large steps, a "human microphone" system is used. Had this man said these words to that crowd he would have been drowned out and not allowed to speak. If this speaker is near the site it has nothing to do with the movement. Occupy Los Angeles was given unanimous support by the LA City Council today. "This country is going to hell in a hand basket," said Council member Paul Koretz, who represents areas like Bel Air and Holmby Hills. "These are things worthy of protest and I thank them for speaking out and moving the debate forward."
This national movement is absolutely focused on non violence and inclusiveness. I've spoken with Libertarians, fiscal Republicans, Independents, and, yes, Democrats on my visits. They all stress that the movement is about restoring and maintaining this country's healthy, functional capitalistic form of government. Here's a clip of what the problems are.
