Officials instructed Benghazi hospital to list Amb. Stevens as “John Doe.” “The reason for the pseudonym, says the official, was to avoid drawing undue attention to the importance of the victim as Americans rushed to figure out how to recover Stevens’ body and return it to the U.S.” Drawing undue attention from whom? Al Qaeda already knew they killed him. Unless the “officials” were worried about the media and the voters finding out before they had their stories straight… [Video at the link.]

Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. The more the layers peel back the more its apparent that this administration let Ambassador Stevens die and did everything to cover this up and pass the blame off on some BS story about a video.

Keep your eyes on the prize. Which is getting to the truth and exposing those who have attempted to she'd blame and cover this entire cluster up. Don't forget Al Qaeda is on the run according to president quagmire and carney barker.

And we believe this because... why? seriously why? The FBI says so? Our government says so? We have ample evidence, just in the past few months - and in fact for the past 60 years, if not more, that our government WILL lie to us to cover their own asses, or to "protect" our delicate sensibilities. I was just reminded yesterday of how the FBI manipulated the media following the JFK assassination.

You do not need to be wearing a tin-foil hat and adjusting the fillings in your mouth to believe that our government is as untrustworthy as any third-world-dictator-for-life. Actually, if you actually believe them unquestioningly, you probably need a rubber room.

I don't know that Stevens was raped. But I sure as heck know that that story came out immediately, and from multiple sources. I know that some filthy goat-herders bragged about doing it, and I know that these people are known for doing that to the infidels.

I also know that our government would want that covered up and would do anything in their power to hide it. Especially once they realized what a big freaking deal this was to so many people. Does it matter? Probably not in the scheme of things. Hopefully he was either dead, or completely unconscious at that point. He's dead now. But what matters is that our government has NO RIGHT to lie to us. Not about videos, not about missile-trades, not about blind sheik negotiations and not about how a diplomat died.
