On Rush, Sex and the GOP

On Rush, Sex and the GOP. From Christopher Hahn at Politico we get: “That brings us to Rush Limbaugh and his slut comments. While I am not for censorship in any form, I do think Rush is a big problem for the pious GOP. First, he is the de-facto head of the party.” Then we get: “Ok what Bill Maher said was equally offensive, but we’re not talking about Bill Maher and he’s not the leader of the Democratic Party by anyone’s definition.” FYI Rush isn’t the head of the Republican Party, defacto or otherwise. Talk about a feeble attempt at pious justification, this is it.

  • The liberal lunatic I had an public argument with on FB about this said that Maher wasn't anywhere near the celebrity status of Rush, so there was no comparison. So I asked her to name a pundit on the left with the celebrity status of Rush, so I could see what kind of remarks they had made.

    Crickets.

    • Ha! I read that thread. You posted a lot of links as I recall. She resorted to calling you an asshole or accused you of being one not that there is much difference in the mind of a left wing loon who is getting her head handed to her. You did very good work over there.

  • So who did more damage, Rush for calling a slut a slut or Maher for corrupting the minds of millions of little liberal pupa...

  • Yea, right!
    Rush is my hero! ;-)
Since I can't get his show where I live, I must be picking him up with my tin foil helmet antenna!
Next I'll be accused of listening to some right winger on a local radio station in Washington State.
If we don't toe the Dumb party line, we're all Rush Lemmings.
    Sheesh, they say we're nuts!

  • And the head of the Demorat party is none other then Delusional Debbie Washerwhore Slutz. Which one do you suppose is the pathological liar?

  • "First, he is the de-facto head of the party.”

I hear this over and over from the left. Just what makes Rush the "de-facto head of the party"? Just because the left says so? He is a radio talkinghead. He doesn't lead the GOP.

I mean if the left wants to attack Rush cuz they wish to believe he leads the GOP, more power to 'em. But I don't think it will get them anywhere. Heck, half the people here on this site don't listen to him and couldn't even tell what local radio station he is on and at what time. I certainly couldn't.

  • And of course The Media's previous howls about Sarah Palin as a b*** and a C*** and all the rest is still "fair commentary."

  • I looked up the definition of "epic fail" in an urban dictionary and found Chrissy Hahn's photo.
