Only 10% of proceeds from Kim Kardashian’s charity auction actually goes to good causes (the rest heads straight into her bank account). Glenn Selig, President/CEO of Selig Multimedia: “Many times, the public assumes that all the proceeds go to charity and not the celebrity. But that is often not the case. The public should never assume that 100 percent goes to charity.” Sounds like she could have a great future in politics.

Okay... I am going to perhaps deviate from the Kim hate here. I don't begrudge anyone from being rich or for going for the money. I do it too, it is what it is. I don't make money my idol though and I can be charitable outside of my tithing because I believe it is the right thing to do. However, I know that not everyone is like me. Money is their idol and many people are not charitable at all. At least in Kim's case, she does provide a 10% to charity and if the money she gets in is consequential that can be of great help to a lot of people. It is better for her to give a little that not give anything at all in my opinion.
The situation here is that she at least does give something out for charity, she shouldn't have to be made to give more if she doesn't want to as after all she is a citizen and she has the right to be as charitable or non charitable as she wants to be. This is the problem that I have with liberals and I hope that conservatives here do not bite into that sphere. MAKING others give more of their money that they shouldn't have to if they don't want to through policy, intimidation and social pressure is the making of tyranny.
She pays her taxes and she employs people. She does her part even if it is minimal in people's eyes. It would be one thing as well if she spent her days and nights like other Progressives (and we cannot even know what her politics are for sure), telling us the plebeians that we have to part with more of our money in order to help folks out where she hypocritically does not do more than she already does. So far I have not heard her do that. As anyone heard her do that? That is why I cannot be hatin' on Kim right now. She at least does SOMETHING and then she doesn't go out of her way to drum others to part with more of their money while she doesnt do it herself.
Now is she a fake ass person? Perhaps. Is she gross because of what she has done? Perhaps. I have no respect for talentless people that use their bodies to gain fame and fortune and apport nothing to the culture other than more cesspooly ways. However, I cannot hate if the person actually does things for charity and uses their fame to promote charity. Nor will I hate becaus they make money. If they make money that means someone down the line is also making money and feeding their families with it. It would be different if she went out of her way to be a normal Progressive chick a la Roseanne or Gwyneth or whatevers who cannot be quiet about how much we need to part from in order for the world to be great whereas they accumulated great wealth and give out (if at all) small quantities of it in comparison to what they could give out.
If someone though has heard her talk Progressive nonsense please let me know and I will be happy to join the Kim hate. Thanks.

A lot of these philanthropists are nothing more than scummy wolves in sheeps clothing. That's why they keep saying the poor isn't getting enough help. Because these leeches are helping themselves first. I rarely donate because of this. I make damned sure my money goes to the "cause" FIRST, not to the bank rollers.

I was asked to explain to a guy from Liberia who came here in 2004, & now works here about Kim Kardashian. He wanted to know how/why she was famous, & I had to go all the way back to the OJ trial. He loves American football, so that made things easier, I then explained OJ, pre murder, & then went through the case, trial, & his "Dream Team" of lawyers. I told him to go on YouTube, check out the verdict, & the rest of it. All the way up to the present, in a sort of "Reader's Digest" way. He got it, but I told him it would make more sense if he watched OJ trial clips, & maybe her video with Ray J. Everything would make sense after that.
There is only one explanation. Shear utter stupidity!
