Oh, but that might not be good news. It COULD be the harbinger of a depression.

There'a another story loose somewhere that what with the new capabilities of fracking, we have practical oil resources greater than Saudi Arabia.
Oh yeah. I saw gas in Providence RI today for $3.02/g. Cash only. Another place just up the block had it for 3.04. But most places are still up around the $3.20 - ish. I think that really cheap place is a front for something else, though. Prov. is a pretty sketchy place. What else would you call it when a former mayor who spent time in Federal prison for corruption is now not only free, but RUNNING FOR MAYOR AGAIN . . . . and IN THE LEAD!

Saw $2.89 cash price in NJ over the weekend.
Don't blame the "OPEC pirates", blame the commodity traders who bid it up. Remember several years ago when gas was brushing $5/g, the trader who bid $100/bbl just so he could tell people he was the first to offer that much?

I love it. Not only is OPEC in disarray but the alternative energy crowd needs expensive oil to make their investment in whatever pipe dreams they have prohibitive in comparison.

Gas here just dropped below $3 today. The people swarmed the pumps to fill up before King Barky screws it up.
I basically ignored all that. My dad had his own gas station and my employer had their own gas pump. I never waited in line the whole time.
Not really, he'll just raise the taxes on oil to keep the prices high.
He's been stepping in to help them the whole time. By holding up the pipeline from the north.
