OREGON NEXT STATE TO TAKE UP GUN CONTROL — HERE’S WHAT’S BEING CONSIDERED. What’s being considered here is that so far we’re not spending any money in New York, Connecticut and Colorado and we can easily add Oregon to our list of places to avoid.

The sad thing is with these states is there are a lot of good reasonable people who will suffer because they live in states where a liberal large city or two have to mess it up for everyone else. Take Chicago out of Illinois (seriously, please) and the state is fairly conservative. Same with Colorado (Denver and Boulder). I don't get how one or two cities control a state. I live half a state away from Chicago and people just assume when I tell them I live in Illinois, they either assume Chicago or the suburbs. Or better yet, that Chicago is the capital. Ugh

I lived in Portland about 20 years ago, it was OK until the influx of CA residents "discovered" it, when they started moving in, I started moving OUT!

Notice how the gun was stolen and that all of the "experts" are saying if the gun had been locked up, it could not have been stolen. BULL SHIT, short of a gun safe being bolted to the floor a safe can be moved, or if it can not be moved, it can be broken into. Given enough time, a criminal will figure out how to get what they want. Being a criminal they have all kinds of time to do just that. Look at the recent report of the car thieves breaking into keyless entry cars without breaking a window.
As for the states that wish to succeed from the union, bye. When all of your business have moved out because of over burdening taxes, limits on what they can make and who they can sell too, they will move to where they are welcomed and encouraged to expand. Just ask CO, they are about to lose to very profitable businesses and their employees.
Oregon, that's the state just North of Kalifornia isn't it. You know, I lived most of my life in Kalifornia and visited every state in the lower 48 except Washington state and Oregon and at the rate things are going I may just keep it that way.
The northern states are succeeding from the Union this time around.They want their own constitution.Let them go....I will make sure when I buy products, these states will not benifit from them.
November 2014 has the potential to be be very interesting. Watch what happens as tourism slows in Colorado and New York, Colt moves out of Hartford, and, due to my east coast bias, no idea what would happen in Portland. Still, the overreach may exacerbate local economic problems and the Dems would pay with their elected seats. I hope so at any rate.
And don't forget,Beretta is moving out of Maryland....
Oregon is a state? I thought it was a city in Northern California. It does tend to act like that.
It hasn't been "My Father's Oregon" for more than 30 years.
