We’re constantly told that we have to give up liberty and property -and pieces of the pie- in order to satisfy some vague and poorly articulated threats that might apply to some children somewhere. But let the Flea Baggers go out and actually harass school children and there is nary a word out of the self-righteous nanny-staters.

No. Our protestors in San Antonio have been annoying, but cooperative. They moved when previously planned events were coming to the areas they occupied, most went to work during the day and returned at night and on weekends, and to the best of my knowledge, there has been no violence.
We haven't had any violence from the occupiers in Phoenix. They know people here have CCW's and they just passed a law that you no longer have to have a permit if you're an adult with no felonies. People here will cure your bad attitude and it's gotten somewhat more peaceful lately. Even the gangbangers are backing off. But I agree with Prog. Hem.. The scum would pay dearly if they messed with my loved ones.

Anyone else see the striking similarities between this story (especially that picture), and the civil rights movement? Police having to protect the minority to ensure they safely get in?
I don't know about anybody else, but if I caught a bunch of drug addicts and possibly rapists following and taunting my kids, they're next ride home would be in a pine box.
