Paul Krugman: And what’s wrong with rising wages, anyway? Nothing so long as they are made up of solid dollars. Unfortunately what Krugman is championing is an accounting error. A situation in which those with the least productive ability will have their labor price fixed at greater than it is worth and paid for by wealth that doesn’t exist. Which sounds all well and good until that theft of value is offset by greater unemployment, higher costs of living and a general theft of savings.

Krugman is an effing retard. He does not understand that the cost of living is DIRECTLY a result of gov't involvement. Gov't fees, taxes, regulations, policies, & tolls are all costs of doing business. Businesses passes the cost of doing business to their customers & they pay the cost. If you don't get that, there really is nothing can be done.

Good question, unfortunately merit means guys like Krugman have to stand in the back of the line.
I got as far as the sentence when he claimed that the government had gone on a program of "fiscal austerity" four years ago in response to the problem of rising deficits before I remembered that Krugtron the Invincible lives in a parallel dimension where economics works differently than it does here, and where history is more fluid.

Everything the liberal elite does or wants amounts to fertilizer for the democratic vote farm. They're not dumb, not when it comes to knowing what keeps them in power. We are just beginning to see the fruits of their efforts. This country and its economy can go to hell in a hand basket as long as they can get and keep control. I just hope I'm not around come harvest time.
How about we pay Krugman in Bit Coins? It would be fair compensation, considering his contribution to the US economy. In fact, I'm surprised King Barky hasn't already proposed we convert the dollar to the Bit Coin. They're already approximately equal in value.
