Let's do some #RealTalk: It all goes back to Progressives/Democrats/Liberals NEED to be masters of someONE not just something (like their own lives or whatever), but of ANOTHER human being. Mastery and power over another human is, in the end, what the Progressive (etc) movement/ideology is about. We all know this is the truth. This is really not about ALL white people "otherizing" Blacks (women, hispanics, etc), this is about Liberals (etc) doing it and resenting that they cannot do it openly and (brilliantly I have to admit) finding a way to do it, undercover while maintaining as much of Blacks (and others) in plantations... but this time the plantations are in the minds of people and the unpaid labor is the vote and support of these people so they can keep liberals (etc) in power. The article is right!
I disagree in one point: Dr. Ben Carson is not rare... the thing is that many Blacks would rather live private uncomplicated lives by not getting involved in public matters and then there are others who ARE afraid (like the so called moderate Muslims) and prefer not to say anything and not have attention be on them so they won't get excoriated.
I am willing to believe like many white Conservatives, many Blacks just didn't/don't bother voting as time goes by and then there are the ignorant ones that live a rather traditional life, BUT due to family history or due to ignorance of what is going on just vote Democrat and call it a day. There is much more complexity within the Black community in this country than originally thought.
