Pentagon sending pink slips to soldiers in war zone

• Telling these men that they will no longer be able to pursue the career path they have chosen and sacrificed so much to attain while in a combat zone is wrong on every possible level. There is no doubt in my mind that there will be causalities as a result of this. Men who already think that there is little or no support for them back in the world will become convinced of it through this thoughtless policy. These fools have zero idea what "living" in a combat environment entails. Maybe, just maybe, they'll get a chance to find out. Ignorant ass holes doesn't come close what I feel in regards to them.

• Adding insult to injury, it wouldn't surprise me that the assh*le in the WH wants our laid-off troops to pay for their own flight home from Afghanistan.

  • Purely hypothetical, because I know American soldiers wouldn't be interested, but if you fire soldiers in the middle of a war zone, don't they have a right to see what the enemy is paying and switch sides? Would that be considered treason or just hiring yourself out as a mercenary?

• It seems the military is not becoming gay friendly, G-d hating and pro-socialism fast enough, so this is another way to destroy it. Interesting tactic. Fascinating actually. You got to say that it is interesting and fascinating even if it makes no common sense. The goal is to destroy the US dominance in the world and belittling the military by making it gay friendly/accepting, G-d hating and pro-socialistic makes sense... firing people as they are in a war zone... doesn't make much sense...

  now I took a minute to ponder... perhaps it does make sense. Firing people in the middle of a war zone can in some of the mentally weakest links create such frustration and anger that when they come back home or even in the field some of these will start shooting themselves preferably after they have shot others. So it makes sense to further minimize and destroy the military to ACTIVELY create mental disabilities among the weakest. They can become weapons of mass destruction. Then one can cry that the military as a whole is unreliable and therefore it needs to be less not more and less present in other countries, etc. If innocent people be it international or US get killed or hurt in the process... so much the better. If you think about it, it is a very evil plan if indeed my suspicions of the goal here is true.

  After I posted this I had another thought... we need to look into the profile of these people. Are they Conservative? Are they Libertarian? Are they Independents? Are they Republicans? Are they Tea Party or have Tea Party family/friends? Getting rid of these type of people makes for a less potent, yet more pliable and willing to obey GOVERNMENT in all things type of military... Interesting.

• Every one of those officers should immediately resign his commission and demand transport home. Fuck obama and his overlords(Saudi). Its time to turn tables on the motherfucker. I just want to know when the flag officers in the Pentagon will sack up and take a division of Jarheads across the 16th St bridge and storm the white house and oust this piece of shit. Then go get hagle, hang them both side by side for treason-get Kerry, the Clintons, and Eric Holder with them all. Treason during wartime is a crime that carries capitol punishment.

  And how ,exactly, does that work? Sorry private Snuffy, your widow and kids won't be getting your death benefits, as you had the misfortune of getting killed in a firefight while you were laid off....sorry we did not get the news to you in time.

  • Can you imagine what happens to a man's morale when he's in a war zone and his government lets him know his job has been eliminated? Oh yeah, THAT's good motivation for a soldier.

  • My dad is willing to give me anything. I think if I asked him for his right arm, he'd say yes. But he has an original printing of Mauldin's book and when I asked if I could have it, he said no. LOL. I love that book. I swear, you can learn just about all you need to know about what it's like being an infantryman from that book.

• Just more proof positive that quagmire has set in motion the destruction of the US Military. Is it any wonder that those who use to believe that the US was an ally have began to question and suspect just the opposite.

  • This could be a good thing. Once they're no longer under his command, they are free to fight for us when the commies try to finish the job King Barky started.

  • We can, but forces of evil will prevent it, even if we take the step to adamantly demand it. The Senate will never do it, that would be admitting failure, the media will never ask for it, that again would be admitting failure.
