      • That's just it. Gore was worth somewhere between 1 & 2 million when he left as VP. Today he's worth over $100 million, but he has produced nothing of value & only has his influence to sell. He's a total non-entity.

      • Exactly. It isn't about the science. The thing we have to understand about these charlatans is that even *they* do not take their "argument" seriously. By spouting garbage, they accomplish two things: the kool-aid drinkers swallow it hook, line, and sinker, because it's what they want to believe, and us non-kool-aid drinkers waste our time coming up with good science and logical refutations of their garbage.

        Their counter of any research done in taking their "science" seriously is simply to spout more garbage. They do not have any intentions of playing "fair", or being "logical" -- and so the best shortcut is to go meta on them: "Science by consensus, eh? Worked good when that Galileo guy was talking his damned heresy, didn't it."

        In short, just say "Bullshit. You're full of shit, and you know it.", and repeat until the global climate does *not* change, and then say "I told you so, dumbass". A lot less time-consuming. I didn't need to know the slightest thing about climate science to understand that this met every definition of a "The end is coming. Give me all your money" scam -- and the best weapons to deal with that are sarcasm and the calendar.

  • This is great theater if you can make it past the first minute . At he one minute mark , if this doesn't sound like Gore's message , nothing does.

  • Al Gore is a con man of the first order. The liberal media accepts without question anything this gas bag says, but nothing he says has credibility. Tragic as Sandy is the media will now pump this up and use it to divert attention from Benghazi, and praise Obama for his "leadership."

  • Idiot...a cat 1 hurricane and he claims proof...I grew up in Florida. I laugh in the face of a Cat 1, HAHAHA...I don't even rush out to buy milk until its a cat 4! :P Yup a hurricane developed during hurricane season, OMG! Pshaw!

    FYI: Officially, the Atlantic hurricane season is from June 1 to November 30, in case anyone didn't already know.
