Polar bears threatened by excessive ice. Remember, the polar bear was listed as “threatened” in 2008 by the dumbass Fish and Wildlife Service, specifically because they were worried about a lack of ice at some vague point in the future. Now, six years later, a polar bear researcher is saying there’s too much ice.

I love polar bears, & I will tell you that in the last 50 years or so, their numbers have gone from about 5,500 bears to about 23,000. 7 of the 8 population groups have increased in numbers over that time. Polar bears are doing just fine.
Only because they're Raaaacists and keeping all the brown and black bears down.
Not up in the arctic circle, ain't no brown or black bears up there.

Actually, polar bears have black skin under their coat. Most folks don't know that.
That's right, and their fur isn't white. It's transparent. The white you see is merely reflection of the snow and ice that usually surrounds them.

I think your thoughts align with mine. I'm thinking the doggone polar bears will do just fine no matter how the climate varies.
Looking at those critters slathered in the blood of their kill makes me think, "Gee, they seem to do whatever they need to do to survive. Ice or no ice is not going to stop a survival machine like that."
