You are so right. BHO called Corzine his "go-to guy". He was on the very short list for Treasury Secretary. BHO can really pick his friends.

DOJ is busy with more important matters - like busting whale watchers and guitar shops. That and the F-n-F cover-up takes a tremendous amount or time...
Reminds me of a few other minor scandals like Fast and Furious, GSA, and Solargate. No hurry to investigate those either it seems.
barry just wants this to go away. The only dragging he hopes to have done is the dragging of the river for Corzine. That way barry keeps the money and the perp is quite and unable to talk.
It might be a good idea to place the former Gov, Senator and soon to be con into protective custody.
Since Corzine is a major bundler of cash contributions for the left, it is more than doubtful that any action will be taken until Corzine's usefulness has been exhausted. Even then, somebody is probably going to force the issue.
The problem for the Dems is that dragging it out through November becomes an issue in itself. Of course, El Presidente's handlers may be using the threat of an indictment as a stick to get Corzine to raise even more cash for the campaign, and thus want to keep him producing.
Followed shortly thereafter, by a Presidential pardon.
