    While the BP oil geyser pumps millions of gallons of petroleum into the Gulf of Mexico, President Barack Obama and members of Congress may have to answer for the millions in campaign contributions they’ve taken from the oil and gas giant over the years.

    BP and its employees have given more than $3.5 million to federal candidates over the past 20 years, with the largest chunk of their money going to Obama, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. Donations come from a mix of employees and the company’s political action committees — $2.89 million flowed to campaigns from BP-related PACs and about $638,000 came from individuals.

    On top of that, the oil giant has spent millions each year on lobbying — including $15.9 million last year alone — as it has tried to influence energy policy"

  • When gas hits 6 bucks a gallon this summer, people aren't going to want to listen to "Dear Leader" blame everyone else for his failure to develop this countries natural resources. Soon even these obviously biased polls will show this dissatisfaction with this Kenyan idiot.

  • Everything, and I mean everything, that will be/has been/is coming out of the Liberal media is designed to depress conservatives. DO NOT believe a word of it. The polls by ABC/WAPO/NYT have now hidden their poll internals. Even when Gallup says that there are more republicans than democrats, even when in 2008 the donks had the republicans by 6 points the Liberal media would weigh the polls by a + 10 donk advantage as late as the end of January and still have 0bama losing.

    Remember that there are 58% of the electorate that wants 0bama HellCare repealed. 70% of the electorate thinks that the economy is failing under 0bama. Finally that 60% of Americans consider themselves conservative and 20% consider themselves Liberal.

    When your brother and sister conservatives are down because of a 99% in the tank for 0bama media, lift them up with reality. Write letters to the editor. Fight the Libtards on their own forums. We are going to win in a landslide if we keep optimistic and keep others optimistic.
