• I've been in contact with my congressman. Ol Andy Barr seems to think we will forget about all this in a few months. It was quickly pointed out the Eric Cantor had the same thought process and he is now a private citizen and having to actually work for his money. It was not well received as the lady on the phone hung up just after stating "this most be another damn tea party person"

  • I would have called back and said she just blew the $500k donation I was about to make to the RNC.

• I am sure Boehner will blame it on Tea Party Terrorists, you know like the ones McCain is trying to kill off in Arizona.

• If Boehner stays as Speaker, as well as McConnell, it will tell conservatives that they don't matter, & that it will be time to maybe start planning something that doesn't involve them. The establishment of the GOP are not interested in what the grassroots wants, & will play dirty to stay in power within the party. Kinda like what happened in Mississippi & Kentucky in the primaries.

  • I'd say to wait and see what we can come up with for ticket in '16. A major established party isn't something to abandon rashly. If we can get a solid conservative even as VP, lets pull together and run with it. Bush/Walker, Christie/Cruz, even those would be acceptable because it sets the stage for subsequent elections. Of course Rubio/West would be even more awesome for a number of reasons, but mainly because you'd see millions upon millions of leftards literally screaming and melting into puddles in the streets.

    But if the establishment party is so entrenched that the conservative wing is shut out entirely ---- how do you think "Federalist Party" would fare this time?

      Not to mention the Cantor loyalists still causing all sorts of problems. Makes me wonder if they really care and want to win and if they don't why should I?

        Jayzus, 50+ and I just had an epiphany. Or come to Boehner moment, or not... Cantoring in the wrong direction am I? Seriously, I've always been a SmartAce, but I just hit a wall...time to retire to the BatCave and rethink this one.
