POTUS was right about one thing: Obamacare really did bend the health care cost-curve… In the below graph you can now see how the American public gets bent by Obamacare.

Obama sez, "...costs will decrease $2,500 for each family"
Obama lie # 13,478
arf....
Under the ACA your employer provided health premiums are to be reported on your W-2 form as income. To me that portends taxing it as income despite assurances that it won't be- why else would they require it to be reported as such? Assurances coming from bureaucrats mean nothing.
Yeah, It showed up on mine last year as part of my total income...but it was not included as taxable income. (go back and check yours again.)
It isn't considered taxable income, YET.
If the cACA doesn't attract enough people to cover costs, you can be sure your "Cadillac" plan will be taxable in the future.
Funny how plans that don't meet federal standards are being cancelled- me thinks the aim of the law includes mandating that every plan technically qualify as a "Cadillac" plan for which there will be a punitive tax assessed as advocated by our class warfare demagogues and the thinking-challenged minions (useful idiots) they play to.
It's simple, if you didn't get your insurance from Obama, it's a Cadillac plan. If you got it from Obama, it's a 1972 Pinto plan.
Tic Tic
BOOM!!!
A pinto that gets legislatively rear-ended... Kaa-BOOM!!!! If Ralph Nader were to head HHS would substandard plans be referred to as Corvair plans?
Ralph Nader is substandard. The Corvair was just fine.
The site glitched on me and now I have no option to delete the post with the typo.... I blame Bush.
I removed it for you.
Thanks. :)
Oh but it's so FAIIIRRRRRR now!
Another chance to use the new favorite word: it's not a rise, it's a 'suboptimal decline'.
says it all, doesn't it?
Not exactly the kind of bell curve you want to see.
