President Peter Principle wants to bypass Congress. “As I mentioned when I was at La Raza a few weeks back, I wish I had a magic wand and could make this all happen on my own,” President Obama told the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. “There are times where — until Nancy Pelosi is speaker again — I’d like to work my way around Congress.” His Teleprompter must have been on the blink because Obama certainly didn’t mean he wanted a magic wand. No, we’re pretty sure he meant an orb and scepter and, perhaps, a magnificent bejeweled crown set upon his head at a jaunty angle.

And I'm sure his sympathetic audience saw absolutely NOTHING wrong with the idea of a President going around Congress to get what he wanted...so long as it was a President and an agenda with which they agreed. Don't they see what kind of precedent this sets?

These wish fantasies seem to be getting more frequent and it speaks to a shocking lack of maturity we see when a narcissist loses control of his self-image. Ever since he lost his super-majorities he has been employing this rhetoric in, what I believe is, a cry for sympathy from his supporters. It is also a bit of a temper tantrum one would expect from a three year old who has been told that he isn't going to get that second piece of candy.
