Um... I read that article, then the article it links to regarding the paper. I didn't see anything in there that says skepticism to anthropogenic climate change is a sickness that needs to be treated.

No, East TN Patriot is not joking nor being sarcastic. Just pointing out that the professor's actual words are not present in the article. The author of the article doesn't provide the exact quote from the professor just his/her interpretation of the professor's paper.

OK I see what you are saying he didn't put up the quote, however he is in essence stating what she meant.

As I read more about this woman I think that the writers captured the essence of her ideas pretty well.

It's not her looks that offend me, it's her ideas. She's an old-fashioned Leftist dressed up in Green glad rags. I can see her running a Siberian gulag or a re-education camp where "bad ideas" are scrubbed away and replaced by "correct ideas". Mr. Norgaard wants to treat people who disagree with her not as ill-informed but as ill-intentioned---and dealt with accordingly.

As you can see, she's been a tree hugger all her life. She especially enjoyed hugging it from her left side right where they left a cut branch jutting out about 2 inches from the trunk at jaw teeth level. The orthodontists did a good job giving her the right sized front teeth for munching hay, oats and grain too.
