We’ve been told for years now that the Obama team is made up of “the smartest people in the room”. Obviously those making such statements never counted on Rand Paul walking through the door. Prime example: Paul bitch slapping Timmy “The Tax Cheat” Geithner over a little basic economics.

It is not difficult to school a fool... but it is oh so satisfying.
As a lifelong Louisvillian and Kentuckian I'm very pleased with Rand Paul's performance so far. I kinda wish Ron Paul wouldn't have run for President this time because Rand was said to be seriously thinking about it. I think Rand could conceivably close the deal on Libertarian/Conservative Republicanism in a way I don't think his Dad ever will. I generally like Mitch McConnell who is from Louisville though I sometimes wish he had a little more fire in the belly. I think he wants to stay above the fray a little bit as the Republican Minority/Majority leader in the Senate.
Mitch have you noticed how a KY Senator conducts a hearing? Senator Paul is doing an excellent job and he knows how to keep the administration squirming when any of them have to come in front of him.

I don't know if the incredibly huge tax fraud that has been going on in the Tampa bay area has made the news around the country but it certainly should have. Hundreds of millions have been uncovered. The authorities expect it to be a billion or more and that's just in the Tampa area! There have been parties at rented halls with food and drinks and computers where people pay a fee and get some stolen tax IDs to file fraudulent returns with. I find it difficult to imagine that it is unique to this area. IRS rules prevent any law enforcement from really doing anything about it other than bust the operations after the fact. All kinds of people are getting bills from the IRS for money that was paid to the frauds in their names. This sounds like it is Timmy's op. This report is from last month. There have been several others. Seems like the stories are fewer and farther apart now. The administration is working doubly hard to hide the plethora evils they've been perpetrating.
