Rand Paul puts the money where his mouth is. For the second year in a row he didn’t spend all the money allocated for his senate office’s operating expenses. He’ll be sending a $600,000 check to the U.S. Treasury. Last year he returned $500,000. It’s so shocking to see a politician doing what he said he’d do, we’re almost ready to forget who is father is.

Too bad the money he returned will just be lost or wasted by the Corporate Greed run Federal Reserve anyway. He should have used that extra cash to start efforts to audit the Fed.

According to the 2013 budget, we are wasting just as much if not more on useless wars and aide to other countries then we are on entitlements. We could just as easily cut back and almost eliminate our bloated foreign policy, yet you show absolutely no efforts to reform that. You'd rather have fellow US citizens die and starve then show any effort to cut back on corrupt aid to other countries who hate us anyway.
Pleaseenumerate which wars we are i that are worthless? Now I grant you the current definition of "fighting" a war needs some tweaking, but generally our troops are in areas where people have threatened the USA. It is their constitutional duty to fight. You should do your part and join the military. You would benefit enormously from the training.

If he can do 13 pushups he can get out of Reception and into Basic.. Its good for the soul. I caught up with a couple guys in AIT later, that were held back a couple weeks before Basic, and they were all growed up then. I say go for it John

The Federal Reserve is a private bank, no different from any other greedy corporation. You've been brainwashed for the past 100 years since 1913 into thinking that the government actually controls the nation's wealth when in reality it was stolen.

1913 was the domain of Wilson, the progressive, big government, socialist. Not corporate greed, socialist and government greed.
The Federal Reserve is a bank that exists by government charter that is useful in taking the control of interest rates away from the free market and regulating monetary supply to meed the demands of the politicians who otherwise could not fund their vote buying schemes and feeding your avarice.
They are the mechanism by which the government controls the wealth and in a free market they would not exist. Of course a free market is a horror to you. That would mean you had to work instead of expecting the rest of us to pay your fair share.
BTW, it was a long process but we broke completely with the gold standard in 1971 and not 1964. Please learn something. I get tired of spanking you with facts.

I remember when I was in the Air Force, when we were a few weeks away from the new fiscal year, they would come and tell us how much of our budget we didn't spend, and we had to use it up or lose money next year.
