Rangel sues House to overturn slap on the wrist. “In December 2010, the House voted 333-79 to censure Rangel for multiple ethical misdeeds — including failing to pay taxes for 17 years on rental income from his villa in the Dominican Republic and soliciting donations from companies with business before the Ways and Means Committee while he was chairman.” Yeah, it’s so unfair to pretend to hold you to the same rules as the little people in your fiefdom, your lordship.

He will be re-elected for as long as he can draw a breathe. In fact, he could most likely be re-elected even after assuming room temperature. Think about it. Do his constituents actually have anything worth stealing? The majority of the people that vote for him barely have enough money to purchase rolling papers. No, he is their hero BECAUSE he is a thief - they cheer him, and vote for him because he is seen as "sticking it to the man." Now, if he would suddenly become honest and have some ethics, he would be defeated faster than Ex-lax running through a goose. ;-)
He will continue to be reelected because he's a black Democrat in New York.

He's a tax cheat, & should have been expelled from Congress.
The House should respond to Rangel's suit by expelling him. He's a corrupt, sleazy, tax cheating disgrace...and yet his low information constituents will reelect him next year. That's the real problem, Rangel gets elected and relected because the people in his district tolerate and applaud his crooked antics, lies and theft.
In this case it is not just being "low Information" it staying with the tribe. But don't you dare call it racism when 110% of blacks vote for the black guy.
Well, lets just pretend the whole thing never happened, and have a re-do. This time lets get him impeached and brought up on federal tax evasion charges. How does ALLENWOOD sound to you, Rangel? You slimy, thieving scumball! You have surely broken whatever deal you made with your fellow congressional scumballs, so maybe they'll be pissed enough to actually do what should have been done the first time.
