This inexplicable belief, by so-called journalists, that hurricanes selectively cause harm to people based on race. That hurricanes can somehow identify people based on that metric and then distribute their destruction accordingly while leaving those of other races alone and unmolested. It would appear that reporter David Chalian is a beleiver in this notion. It would also seem that he has never been a firsthand witness to the devastation these things can bring . . . and just how well they spread the annihilation.

I listened to the audio and noticed no-one disagreed or called him out. In fact, there was laughter. It seems most of the media either think like this or pretend to think like this in order to remain in their bosses good graces.
I think they absolutely believe the same and are merely tolerating all us ignorant, red-necke Conservatives (even the ones who have never even BEEN to the south!)
