Ive been in there once and think I bought a Coke on the way out the door. Everything was priced retail like the other big box sporting goods store. Not for me, regardless of their politics.

It seems that Dicks is not only loosing money but people as well. I have a friend who retired looking for a part time He sent me a link that a large number of Dick's stores are looking for employees and department managers and those stores that sell guns are trying to find people who can sell them...He said they don't pay for shit.
Nothing like pissing off a large portion of your customers, then wonder why the bottom line is taking a hit.

Yea, Imagine being a shareholder of a company and the asshat running it lost money because of his political beliefs and was proud of it. Change the name to "Liberal Dick's".

Cruz purchased a shotgun at Dick's before shooting up his school, then another kid with plans to shoot up a school purchased a shotgun at Dick's, and so what does the CEO do? He bans "assault-style rifles and high-capacity magazines out of all Dick’s stores." WTF? How does that even make sense?

Criminals weren't getting their guns from Dick's, so the only effect of this decision was to inconvenience their law-abiding paying customers, which the CEO apparently thinks is a good idea. No doubt the market will let him know otherwise very soon.
What they are not saying is how much did Dick's lose on other sales like fishing gear. Many anglers are hunters too so I'm sure there are losses on the fishing end too.
i haven't been in one since and I never did buy a gun there but I did buy a bunch of other crap. Glad I don;t own any stock with a dipshit like this running the show.
Yeah, I'm guessing if they say they lost $150 million in sales, they actually lost about twice that. The lying sacks of shit aren't gonna admit exactly how stupid they were. You and I know a guy buying a gun is probably gonna buy a whole bunch of other shit while he's in the store, and you and I know they aren't gonna even attempt to quantify that.
I used to buy Ammo, gun supplies, clothes, shoes, sports gear there. Now I buy nothing.

Evidently they didn't update other stuff when they updated WordPress.
I put the regular editor back working, the new one seems confusing.

Yeah, I'm getting that stupid pop-up too. Thought my computer had a virus so I'm glad to hear someone else is getting it.
I started getting them Thursday night and emailed CO2 Friday about it.
It seems to be gone now.
