    Leave it quagmire to say screw my own bill and law. "I'll just write a new law and make those evil insurance companies re-issue the canceled plans that he I forced them to cancel in the first place". If there were a set of gonad in the republican party they would be lined up for articles of impeachment. Yet the nut less just stand there looking like eunuchs and wondering what to do. Is it any wonder they republicans are so hated among those of us who believe in the US Constitution.

      • I want true conservatives and true constitutionalist, nothing more, nothing less. If its not in the US Constitution, it should not be done. The last time I saw it in the National Archives, I failed to notice a heart beat, rising and failing chest or to hear it breath. So anyone stating that its a living breathing document needs to be hauled off to the mental hospital for a long rest.

  • Nonsense... only the insurance carriers can opt to extend plans that were mandated to be canceled because of Obamacare.... it is not the option of this kingship which for its purposes seems to think that the intricacies of the insurance agreements can be magically conjured up on a whim when federal law had apparently rendered them to be substandard. What does an insurance carrier do as a matter of course when a despot proposes a temporary reversal of a law whose purpose in practice is to destroy the health insurance business in order to set up the crisis calling for single payer?

    • This plan raised its ugly head whenthe first policies showed up and people started screaming. As an old insurance company employee, I can assure you, the companies are not going to go back to the previous policies already trashed. It would be too complicated, and would cost too much out of the companies' pockets. And before the troll pops up to scream the insurance companies should be willing to give up profit, may I remind everyone that if the company goes out of business,, NO ONE gets insured, and if you have IRA or 401K money in shares, you will lose your shirt if they go under. THe rule of unintended consequences.
