Robert Gibbs hates those pesky conservative reporters

What is America coming to when a White House spokesman can’t walk down the street without being accosted by an evil conservative reporter? Why can’t he just go to the White House briefing room and be ignored like the other conservatives?

  • I used to blog on another website and trolls like sam have always been part of the system. They are a very small group who makes themselves seem larger by creating other names and E-mails because so few rational people care to hear their hate filled rants. They constantly berate conservatives on conservative forums and they call themselves conservatives. These are the same people who are found to be the democrats who brake their own windows and blame conservatives. These are the same people who find nooses on their doors and claim 'lynching' when they themselves hung the noose and are black.
Sam is a fraud who needs to be exposed and berated and banned. We no longer can say he's just a stupid kid. He's a poison that conservatives take in stride and we have fed this monster and his ilk for to long. The question is does he get paid to be so foolish or does his schizophrenic attempts at persuasion a sign of deep personal problem? Either way he NEEDS to be stopped. Now.

  • SAm, I'll answer your questions. Yes, conservatives are ashamed when they do wrong. Nixon was about to be impeached, he apologized and did the best thing for the country by stepping down. Clinton was actually impeached and blew it off (no reference here to Ms. Monica) and stayed in office.

Every time a conservative screws up (Mark Foley, Mark Sanford, etc etc) he is raked over the coals and then the party forces him out. By contrast, Charlie Rangle takes corruption to a level that would make Nixon look like a saint, AND HES STILL IN OFFICE.

So don't get all high and mighty with us ok?

As to the spitting and name calling this week. There were 30,000 people there and a gazillion reporters, not to mention people with all kinds of personal recording and video devices. How come, among all that flurry, no one else heard the slurs? Perhaps the so called "victims" were just listening to the voices in their heads.

    • So you're honestly trying to tell me all conservative are ashamed when they do wrong (or is it when they are caught doing wrong?) and that no liberals are?

      • I think he's saying that conservatives and Republicans have standards they expect people to live up to, and when they are caught doing something wrong they are punished and yes feel more shame for what they do.

As opposed to liberals and Democrats who are caught red-handed but since they do not have self-imposed standards so they are let off the hook by their colleagues and the media, just a nice sweep under the rug. So what is there to be ashamed of?

        • That is excellent and true. People who become champions for conservatism and traditional values once caught in something gross, are held up by the standards they belong/ed to and screaming of hypocrisy abound, but progressives/liberals who do not have standards of behavior when they are caught doing the same thing OR WORSE do not get repel or sanctioned because there is no real hypocrisy there for they never claimed to be people of standards in the first place. It is a nice racket. Do not claim to be a person of standards ever, because if you do and you slip as human beings tend to do, then you will be castrated for it instead of being allowed forgiveness once you ask for it.

Joy Behar explained this on the View many weeks ago. It was midly shocking, and definetly eye opening and interesting. She was acknowledging that liberals are not set to moral standards.

  • Sorry, how is my asking the same question someone else did a "simplistic thing"? It's so funny on this site how you try and defend yourself through insults instead of reason.

Conservatives this week have been accused of spitting on congressmen and hurling racial slurs at them? Is this good behaviour to be proud of?

      • Sam, a word of advice. Try to act older than your teen years. This isn't Nickelodeon. People here are amused by liberals (I know, you say you're not a liberal) and enjoy engaging in debate with them, but when you start saying childish or overly simplistic things, you're just going to be ignored or made fun of, and if you begin to bore me, you simply will not be on allowed on the site any longer.

And no, I, and Editor, don't have time to "debate" with you or anyone really in the comments.
