The increasingly-annoying Robert Gibbs really needs to go down to Barnes & Noble and buy himself a copy of “How To Win Friends And Influence People.” Because his behavior is even starting to piss off his dwindling band of supporters.
One member of the White House press corps had the temerity – the temerity – to ask Gibbs why the President has been AWOL this summer as his party’s approval numbers plummeted.
Gibbs response? He giggled like a little girl and told the reporter that he sounded like a radio guy.
Translation: “Aw, crap, even my friends are starting to sound like Rush Limbaugh.”

I guess he didn't want to actually SAY that none of those Democrats running for office want him anywhere near their campaigns. With his current approval rating He is the kiss of death for thier seats.
I would say that we should give this guy a break. He's not all that bright, which isn't his fault, he was born with a low IQ. And he's got a really tough job. Imagine trying to make Obama look good on a daily basis. I WOULD say give him a break, but he's such an ass, I say we send him off looking for honest work, along with his boss.

Yes, I think of it as more of a "roll your own" episode of MST3K. Thing is, as long as the sacred cow remains sacred, we'll never lack for things to joke about.
