Romney opens up 6-point lead over Obama as campaigns hunker down in swing states

• My cousin in Finland advises 0bama is favored to win by 71% according to the polls there. I didn't ask him if they get to vote for him, too. I'm pretty sure Romney didn't campaign there.

  • So THAT"S where the favorable poll numbers are coming from! The Finns have never had to live under Obama. THey only see the carefully created and polished version from the press, O's adoring minions. If they lived here they might feel differently.

    • Can we give him to the Finn's? I would be willing to go as low as a couple cases of sardines and a reindeer steak. And I will pay shipping.

• And Obama promised immediate, sweeping overhauls in the immigration departments. When ROmeny pointed out he had done nothing, Obama tried to change the subject and completely ignored the question. We had a consulate (or whatever term they are using in Benghazi) attacked, trashed, and 4 American Citizens, including the Ambassador were killed. And what have we done? NOTHING! The entire world wees us as a laughing sticokc, and aing lion with no teeth, ust humored for its age. My question is howcan anyone STILL support Obamarama? 2008 was one thing, but now they KNOW he's worthless. How can they still support him?

  • Day by day, fewer and fewer are. The evidence indicates that the hemorrhaging is profuse.

    I agree with other posters encouraging us to not let up in letting this beastly administration bleed out at the ballot box.

• These polling numbers are coming pollsters that have been padding their polling results heavily on the D side of the equation, you know, D+6, D+7, D+8, D+9. They have to drinking heavily and smokin' crack, due to their internal polls, because that 51% to 45% lead for Romney is probably more like 61% to 29% with the remaining 10% Independent vote tracking heavily for Romney also. If you're a pollster, what do you tell your boss? I'll try and guarantee the higher end of the polling stats by voting for Romney and Ryan on November 6th!!

• I haven't believed the polls ever during this cycle. I'm not questioning whether or not Romney is in the lead, I just wonder if the carnage for Obama is going to be worse than polls indicate.

  It seems like pollsters were dragged to showing Romney up after the first debate and that they went along only as a measure to ensure their future credibility.

  Am I being too optimistic? Do I have it right or am I wrong and it is truly tight as it seems?

  • You are absolutely correct. I stopped believing any poll a long time ago. I think these leftist propaganda spewers (polling groups) are making it as close as they dare. If they actually reported the real numbers, it would totally depress the braindeads.
    A few days ago I had to drive quite a long ways through rural Wisconsin. The Romney signs outnumbered the Obozo signs at least 25 to 1. Of course with the masses of union dolts and suck-at-the public-trough crowds in Swillwaukee and Madison this can be offset. And, I expect a 130% turnout in certain liberal areas engineered by the Chitcagohole scum.

    • I've said it before, but outside of the welfare class in Milwaukee & in Madison where everyone works for the Governor or Bucky at UW, Wisconsin ain't as progressive as the outside world thinks.

      • Thank goodness! But just as the few progressives in Illinois and California run their states and give outsiders a false view, same in Wisconsin I guess. In Texas right now, the Republicans are nominally in charge. But the Democrats are a vocal and voting minority, an dhere it is tied in wit color and ethnicity to a great extent.
