Royal Navy engineer who fought in Afghanistan told to cover up her uniform on Virgin flight in case it offended other passengers. “For 15 years she has proudly served her country as a Royal Navy engineer, risking her life in Afghanistan when she fought against the Taliban.” Sounds like someone’s got a case of hypoxia… or chronic stupid.

I have a friend who's ex British Special Forces who told me he wouldn't fly on Virgin because of the way they treat people in the service.
She should have replied
"as a woman, I am offended by your request and will file a sex discrimination lawsuit as soon as I arrive home"
If for no other reason than the entertainment value of watching the staff grapple with that one.

Why would anyone be shocked by this? Richard Branson owns Virgin, England has nothing to do with this decision.
Anyone who might be offended by her uniform should be removed from the flight.
