    • Now that I have taken a 2nd look, not really. He co-found the hip-hop music label Def Jam. His brother is Run, as in Run DMC. Plus the Phat Farm brand is his, so while does not really rap, he is very connected to that world.

      • He sold Phat Farm many years ago. When his ex-wife took over he essentially told her to get rid of it like he did, so he didn't even care for that. He is connected but he is not really that important. I am not even sure why anyone cares about what he has to say.

• The only things that are in the cACA bill, Obama Care are the 26 year old policy and the pool for people with previous conditions that ran out of money in the first 10 months of 2011. I believe that only a few thousand preexisting condition people were helped by that.

  More correct is that Obama Care will kill hundred of thousands if not millions in the next two years.

• Nothing like total propaganda to control the sheeple. Truth be damned. This is yet another example of how little respect the Communists have for their supporters. Their supporters should be insulted by this but that would require some common sense.

  • You can paint a rosy picture of anyone. Russell Simmons is just one of Obama's faithful artists. But, it only works with total control of the media or a MSM that loves to paint rosy pictures of dear leader.

• The average thought going through the mind of anyone who believes him: "Wow, millions of lives been saved. Why, that's almost as much as a hundred!"

  • I have a friend that went to Newfoundland to do some repairs. One of the guys at the factory was showing him around on their day off and they got to a cliff and the guy said "Look! Thousands of seals! Almost 500." That's one I'll never forget.
