• One communist bastard getting along with another one. At least Putin has a set and is a man. Unlike barry, who at best could be listed as a girly man.

  This alone should give those who are straddling the fence cause to vote for Romney. Here is the former head of the KGB saying he is in favor of one person over the other who is running fro president. That, and Russia is the one of Assad's biggest ally, right along with China and Iran.

• Ever since Ron Paul was screwed out of his chance at nomination, anyone would be a better candidate then the two left in the race. You could endorse a steaming pile of shit on the sidewalk and it would be better then Obama or Romney.

  • A steaming pile of shit would fail to meet the minimum standards clause set forth in Article 2. You'd think a fan of Ron Paul would know a little bit more about the Constitution. But then again you're not really a fan of Ron Paul. Not so long as you maintain sympathetic statements for communism and remain anti-Austrian and have never heard of Gary Johnson.

    And raising the minimum wage combats inflation exactly how? The increased cost of production incurred by labor has to either be absorbed by the producers or transferred to the consumer. Of course you can’t be suggesting that these greedy corporations are going to eat the cost . . . I mean they are after all “greedy corporations”. So the net effect of this policy is a driving up of the cost of living. Which is, in party, why the value of our dollars are diminished.
    I am also curious as to how corporate greed is driving this inflation. Of course there are reasons to be made for this suggestion. But do you understand them? Can enumerate them? What is the Austrian perspective on the matter in relation to that of macro? And how is it the case that rampant consumerism can be attributed to the fair market system when that approach to economics would likely have produced interest rates forcing savings and austerity rather than cheap money and indiscriminate stimulus of sectors supposedly in glut.

  • Unfortunately politics is about choosing the lesser of the two evils. You want another 4 years of Obummer? I would rather give Romney a chance.

    • That's not the point. Your vote means nothing. Whether we get Romney or Obama will have nothing to do with who you or I vote for but rather who buys off the electoral votes. It's how it's always been for 100 years but just now it's out in the open with this recent Ron Paul issue.
